moróro is known for its sophisticated, warm and robust designs with a nod to Brazilian architecture. This is reflected in the name moróro, which refers to a house designed by Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan. The Belgian outdoor brand was founded in 2017 by Veerle Lapierre and Karel Vanhuyse: a Flemish couple of entrepreneurs who started producing their own items in the search for strong, thoughtful, no-nonsense outdoor concepts. Their first outdoor object Rocco quickly grew into an international success. Besides collaborating with renowned designers, Veerle also designs her own. Her designs include Phaar, Saul, Luz and Garzón. Since 2022, the internationally growing outdoor label has had its permanent home in Krombeke, Belgium, in an architectural new building with sturdy barn allure in the middle of Flemish nature and surrounded by the entire Moróro collection.
