About Mosaic Software

Mosaic Software was a global provider of electronic funds transfer (EFT) software for consumer-generated electronic transactions, and the market leader for web-enabled ATM and prepay software solutions. Mosaic's family of products was named Postilion and that brand is still in use today. Mosaic Software was founded in 1994 by Johann Dreyer and Willem van Biljon. It became a wholly owned subsidiary of S1 Corporation in late 2004. Van Biljon, who was then director of new business development and head of the Africa division, left the company. Dreyer, its CEO, stayed on and would act as S1's last CEO from 2006 to its takeover by ACI Worldwide in 2012. Mosaic Software's US corporate office was in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The firm also had offices in Chertsey, the United Kingdom; Melbourne; Singapore; Dubai; and Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa. The latter office was the first to be established and held the largest contingent of software developers, as well as most corporate communications and related functions. Mosaic had just under 200 employees at the end and a customer base of approximately 210 financial institutions and retailers in more than 40 countries.
