Mostly Mad Music is a registered charity which explores the relationship between mental health and music. We run events, create content and contribute to research. We believe that music strategies can be used to help manage mental health issues. We also believe that music arouses empathy and forges connections.
Our strong grass roots connections with community organisations means we are able to engage audiences and talk to them about mental health management in a unique and tailored way. We love working with people with a lived experience of metal illness or of being a carer.
We have worked with the Mental Health Commission of NSW, City of Sydney Council, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Wayside Chapel, Flourish, One Door Mental Health and Lou’s Place.
