Motion Counselling

Motion Counselling is dedicated to supporting individuals, couples and families within Kelowna and it’s surrounding communities. Our team of compassionate and highly skilled Registered Clinical Counsellors are committed to supporting those who are confronted with a wide variety of mental health concerns, emotional distress or personal struggles. Counsellors work from a range of perspectives including, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-focused, Narrative, Existential, Person-Centered, Attachment, Family-systems, Expressive Therapy, Emotionally-focused and Trauma-informed Theories. At Motion Counselling, we offer the delivery of counselling services through both a traditional in-person approach, as well as an online model. While this online approach may not be preferred and/or suitable for all, many individuals are attracted to the immediacy and flexibility that accompanies online counselling services. Online counselling is especially beneficial for those who: live in remote and rural areas, have physical limitations that prevent them from accessing appropriate in-person services, remain homebound to care for dependent family members, work shift-work, regularly travel throughout the country and of course, for those who simply want the convenience and flexibility of receiving counselling services from the comfort and safety of their own home. Motion Counselling will offer groups and retreats focused on various challenges, topics and life experiences.
