Motion Physiotherapy was established in 2019. We are a clinic that focuses on treating injuries in a holistic manner, targeting the cause of pain and developing a plan to reduce the risk of further injury.
Motion Physio aims to get people back doing what they love doing, continuing physical activity and getting the most out of each day. The reason Motion Physio came about was to offer people a more personal treatment and rehabilitation pathway. Too often people have said that they were just told ‘she’ll be right’, had a heat pack and TENS machine put on them and then were sent out the door. Motion Physio aims to change the way that Physiotherapy is perceived, utilising modern practice and clinical reasoning to get the best outcomes for each individual.
For years Physiotherapy has been seen by many as just massage and some exercises, but it is much more than that! As a profession we need to get the message across that we can offer a wide range of treatment to a whole variety of patient groups.
