MotionInput Games

Move Your World. We brought touchless computing during Covid-19 since 2021 to everyday PC users with just a webcam (free download on Microsoft Store). Over 290 students and academics at University College London have over four years been designing, building and testing AI solutions for every type of controlled motion, condition and human capability. At MotionInput Games, a spinout of UCL Computer Science, we are enabling new ways to play, developing AI PC enhanced solutions to enjoy stories and enrich our lives with new ways to experience the content, software and gaming media that we already have. We want children to move in their existing games, for adults to feel the magic of movement after endless PC calls and we want equitable computing access for all users, no matter their physical capabilities - having tested with dozens of world leading charities and organisations. If a user has the means to control a movement, we can observe, analyse and present that as a means to control the software and games that they already own. Most importantly is that we realise that at some point we will all need help, some physical assistance, in sickness and in old age if we are lucky to reach that far. With dignity till we have lost full motor controls we want to still be the children that we are at heart, playing the games we love and enabling our digital life to take us places still. Our AI solutions are there to help us. "Harkat mi hoti hai, Barkaat hodaki hai" - an Urdu saying that there are blessings in actions.
