About Us: Motivational Interviewing for Change is a collaborative effort to innovate and streamline MI skill development. Motivational Interviewing Consultants and members of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers, Mary Beth Abella-Jacks, MSW and Liz Barnett, PhD, MSW, have been training together since 2004 and have launched this business as an effort to better support those we train as well as become a resource for those who want to learn more.
We have been training professionals in a wide range of settings from health care to probation, substance use to child welfare, homeless services to employment assistance, as well as heavy focus on case management.
