Moto AMERIT

The Association of Macedonian Enterprises for International Road Transport "Makedonija Soobrakaj" AMERIT Skopje was incorporated in 2000 as a successor of the business association for road transport Makedonija Soobrakaj founded in 1974. Since 1993 the Association has been a member of the International Road Transport Union IRU seated in Geneva, which protects the interests of its membership in international institutions and forums. The Association develops special analyses and expert studies related to current work and development of transport companies, issues TIR Carnets, delivers professional qualification to drivers carrying dangerous goods, to advisors for safety of dangerous goods, professional qualification for obtaining a certificate for participation of drivers in the international transport of people and goods as well as a certificate of professional competence in road transport operation management. Enterprises in the area of road transport in the Republic of Macedonia are organized in the Association for the purpose of realizing and enhancing their mutual goals and interests. The Association currently has registered 296 founders - legal entities in the public road traffic and 189 associate members. In November 2016, AMERIT inaugurated a new multi-functional business facility in Skopje, settlement Momin Potok. Within this new facility, was also founded Moto AMERIT, a new company for motor vehicle technical inspection and conformity analysis. Moto AMERIT central point is to provide quality technical inspections to all types of motor vehicles. Furthermore, in this technical department can be provided the following services: homologation and identification of vehicle technical characteristics, attest and approval of additionally modified vehicles, inspections of vehicles for certificates for ECMT, carriage of dangerous goods (ADR) as well as carriage of perishable foodstuffs (ATP), calibration of analogue and digital tachographs, etc.
