MotoManipal

MotoManipal is a team of passionate, selfless and dedicated students of MIT, Manipal who have devoted themselves towards making an efficient and environment friendly Electric Superbike. We aim to set a benchmark of being one of India's first student teams to present ourselves in the most prominent electric motorbike competition, "MOTOSTUDENT INTERNATIONAL" to be held in Spain in 2022. So far, we have participated in various competitions and won laurels in the same. At the Asian E-Bike Challenge, we won a number of prizes namely- Best Aesthetics and Ergonomics, Best Innovation, Best Commercial, First runner up in Engineering Design and Second Runner-up in the B-Plan presentation. We were featured in the esteemed daily-"The Times of India" for the laurels that we won. The team made most out of the coronavirus pandemic as well. We participated in the National Online E-Bike Design Competition, Season-1 organized by FMAE-Inda in the month of September 2020 and were crowned champions in the same. We replicated the same result in the Season-2 of the competition which was held in March-2021. We were covered by many media bodies viz. "The Times of India", "Deccan Herald" and the local daily"Prajavani" for the same In addition to participating in competitions, we are also putting emphasis on research in cutting-edge technology for motorbikes ranging from self-balancing to variable suspension.
