Moty

Moty was founded in 2022 as an in-house venture of LG Innotek and spun off in 2023 with the goal of driving the digital transformation of fitness. Moty has developed a cable-based digital exercise machine, Motyv, that uses electric vehicle-grade motors to provide resistance. The machine doesn’t just offer a wide range of exercises, but also provides real-time data collection and analysis for every repetition performed. Since resistance is provided via a motor, it can be varied – even within a repetition – to provide optimal muscle stimulation. By storing and analyzing workout data such as set and rep count, resistance, as well as calories burnt, Motyv is able to provide personalized exercise management according to a user’s growth. Alternatively, trainers can also customize the program for each client through the machine.
