Mount Elgon Trust

Mount Elgon Trust is a non governmental organisation located in the Chepchoina area of Western Kenya. The Trust was established in 2006 and focuses on improving medical, educational and social development of the area. The Trust takes care of many projects and community outreach programs. We can group the projects intro three categories: Health, Education and Welfare projects: Health: ● Andersen Medical Centre ● HIV/Aids Clinic (VCT) ● Orthopaedic Workshop ● Home-Based Care Program Education: ● Andersen Primary School and ECD ● Andersen High School ● Andersen Vocational Training Centre ● Capacity Building Training Program Welfare: ● Habitat Housing and market ● Mount Elgon Trust Children's Home ● Mount Elgon Trust Guest House Our aim is to promote sustainable development in the local area by working with community members in their communities and involving them in the work of the projects.
