MLW = husband and wife team Rowena and Joel Rasmussen. We have a deep passion to create narrative-driven work that illuminates the intricacies of the human condition. We're Aria Nominated Directors and currently serve as Creative Directors for Australia's The Voice Series 12 and 13. Recently, we collaborated with Jason Derulo in LA, directing live action visuals for the opening of his show and creating animated screen content for his Australian Fridayz Live tour and 2024 world tour. Our portfolio includes collaborations with Jessica Mauboy, Jason Derulo, Adam Lambert, Kate Miller-Heidke, Rita Ora, Guy Sebastian, LeAnn Rimes, Ricky Martin, Geri Halliwell, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Robbie Williams, Kelly Rowland, Jessie J, Ke$ha, Charlie XCX, Kylie Minogue, Dani Minogue, Tina Arena, Delta Goodrem and more. Additionally, we boast successful short films screened at prestigious Academy Qualifying festivals such as St Kilda Film Festival and Flicker Fest, including "Invisible" and "Ellie Was Here." We have a deep passion to create narrative-driven work that illuminates the intricacies of the human condition. Our perspective as creatives is enriched by our extensive experiences in professional dance, acting and theatre. Having been in front of the camera and on big stages has been invaluable in the way we create. We organically transitioned into Creative Directors and Directors/DOP for TV, music videos, film and also have experience in AR for TV performances.
