Moving Mountains specialises in helping young children reach and exceed their expected potential no matter how high the mountain may seem. Moving Mountains has a special interest in working with children with neurological and motor disorders to make functional and long lasting gains. We offer intensive therapy programs to increase functional outcomes of traditional therapy services. Therasuit Intensives are particularly suitable for children with cerebral palsy, brain injury and fluctuating tone. The suit itself facilitates the development of motor skills by keeping the body in alignment while providing compression and feedback to the muscular skeletal system.
Research suggests that intensive exercise, repetitive movements in conjunction with the suit can help rebuild damaged reflex pathways within the brain that can greatly improve a child's gross motor capabilities.
