M.P.E. is comprised of a team of power system and renewable energy specialists providing electrical engineering consultancy across a range of disciplines. Our particular focus areas include the system integration of renewable energy, maximising HVAC power transmission capability, and optimisation of the use of transmission scale power electronics. Our services are aimed at operators of public or industrial networks, operators and developers of wind and solar farms or conventional thermal generation, and policy makers who want to benefit from our experience and expertise in the field of electrical power systems and power system simulation software. The leadership team of Jochen Moeller, Markus Poeller and Jonathan Horne bring over 45 years of experience in power system planning, operations, simulation and measurement into the group. With offices in Tübingen & Keil, Germany and London, UK we work as one specialist team to ensure that the client has access to the technical knowledge they need whether it is one engineer for a small assignment, or a group for larger or time critical projects. We have a strong international orientation. Our engineers are familiar with power grids in all parts of the world. We know the network operation "from the inside" and see ourselves as innovative consultants who propose feasible and cost-effective solutions. We are also the company representative in Germany, UK and Ireland for RTDS (www.rtds.com), a real time digital simulator for power systems, which allows fast EMT simulation with or without hardware in the loop.
