UK EXPERIENCE Quantity Surveyor by trade with 19 years overall industry experience; 8yrs in the UK and 11 years in Australia. I built a career in the UK as a well-established and capable Quantity Surveyor, working for two large construction companies in the London area over a period of 4 years. I appreciate the extensive amount of re-measurement subcontracts I undertook during my time in the UK, something that is less prevalent in the Australian market. I consider this early career experience as a fundamental base for good commercial understanding and control. AUSTRALIA EXPERIENCE I joined the Hansen Yuncken ranks as a Contract Administrator on the Waterfront City 1B North Project in the Docklands, seeing it through to successful completion in early 2009. I worked on many projects during a 7 year career at HY, establishing myself as a competent Project Manager of Government projects. Over the last 4 years I have managed 4 apartment projects for Buildcorp Commercial and Aspekt Construction.
