Madhya Pradesh Tiger Foundation Samiti

The Madhya Pradesh Tiger Foundation Society (MPTFS) is a pioneering organization working under the aegis of Forest Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, dedicated to the conservation of tigers, wildlife, and natural habitats. As the nodal agency of Forest department working exclusively for wildlife conservation efforts across the state, MPTFS plays a crucial role in protecting one of India's richest biodiversity landscapes. MPTFS supports field-level protection, habitat improvement, research, eco-development, and community engagement initiatives across all protected areas in Madhya Pradesh—including the state's nine tiger reserves and twenty-five sanctuaries. It also facilitates capacity-building programs for frontline staff, wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, conflict mitigation, and awareness drives aimed at nurturing coexistence between humans and wildlife. Through partnerships with individuals, institutions, and corporate bodies, MPTFS encourages CSR contributions and public donations for conservation. It also leads campaigns, publications, and educational programs to promote a culture of conservation in schools, colleges, and urban spaces.
