The MQ Foundation, in partnership with MQ Mental Health Research, is a global mental health research foundation. We invest in multidisciplinary research on the cause, diagnosis, and prevention of all forms of mental illness to prompt the adoption of innovative treatments and public programs.
We support researchers around the world, with more than 25% of MQ backed projects originating in the US. MQ Mental Health Research was founded in the UK in 2013, with an investment of $27 million from the global charity Wellcome.
Building on our growing international reputation and influence, the US-based MQ Foundation was established in 2018 to expand public awareness and donations for mental health research.
