Illustration and character design. About me: Growing up in the eighties meant being exposed to a wonderful world full of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Toxic Crusaders, Masters of the Universe and a time traveling Marty McFly. The score to this wonderland consisted of Michael Jackson songs and the Mario Bros theme. Illustrating has always been my big passion. I have stacks of boxes full of vintage Michiel Baumgarten illustrations stashed away in my attic. After finishing my graphic design study and getting my bachelor degree in communication I kept my main focus on illustration work. The roster of clients I have worked for consists of Coca Cola, Milner, NS, GVB, de Key, World Expo Dutch Pavilion, Mattmo, iWink and many more.
