Company History 1983 MRG was formed to develop teletext technology. Early clients were banks at the London Stock Exchange. 1989 First screen system for William Hill. 1992 BBC Teletext subtitle transmission system. Various terrestrial and satellite broadcasters followed. 1996 Paddy Power takes BIDS. 2000 Information displays for The Houses of Parliament and Portcullis House. Includes public information screens, meeting room & touchscreen wayfinders for visitors. 2006 Panther Securities become majority shareholder. 2010 New Zealand Racing Board take on the BIDS5 system. The DailyForm touchscreen is developed using PA Sports data. 2013 Bar One Racing signs up for BIDS5 and starts relaying its service to what will become over 200 shops. 2016 LiveSpace digital signage is launched. 2016 YouTube Space adopt LiveSpace for their new offices in London. 2016 The National Assembly for Wales adopt LiveSpace 2017 The company becomes majority owned and run by its staff who achieve a 80% shareholding.
