Welcome to the Magnetic Resonance in Radiotherapy Research Group – MRinRT
We are a research group based in Lund and formed through the collaboration between Lund University and Skåne University Hospital. Our mission is to pioneer innovative MR methods and integrate them into the realm of radiotherapy. By harnessing the capabilities of MR imaging to precisely define target and risk organs, we aim to improve radiation treatment, tailoring it to each patient's unique needs and, in turn, minimizing potential side effects to improve the quality of life.
Our group is actively engaged in both clinical practice and cutting-edge academic research, fueling our pursuit of novel research questions. We possess a remarkable blend of expertise encompassing MR physics, radiation physics, and clinical workflows.
