Welcome to the Muslim Students' Association (MSA) at the University of Calgary! Our mission is driven by a twofold commitment: Supporting Muslim Students: We're here to foster a community on campus for Muslims and offer support during their university journey. This includes a range of events, including halaqas with sheikhs, social activities, and dawah events. We also provide religious services such as weekly Jumu'ah prayers, free on-campus iftars, and nightly Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan. Promoting Understanding: We work to enhance awareness and understanding of Islam within the wider campus community through education and open dialogue. Additionally, we collect donations for Muslim causes and global emergency relief efforts in collaboration with partnered organizations. Join us in building a more inclusive campus environment while creating lasting friendships. Together, we can create a positive impact that extends both within and beyond our campus.
