Het Medisch Specialistisch Bedrijf Domstad is een coöperatie die de vrijgevestigd medisch specialisten in het Diakonessenhuis samenbrengt in één bedrijf. De ambitie van het MSBD is om uit te groeien tot een toonaangevend bedrijf in de regio Utrecht en ruime omgeving dat een krachtige wervende uitstraling zal hebben op de beste medisch specialisten uit het veld. Het MSBD wil zich profileren als de partij in zijn verzorgingsgebied voor het verlenen van medisch specialistische zorg waarbij excellente zorg wordt geleverd. Om de beste medisch specialisten te kunnen aantrekken biedt het MSBD talentvolle professionals de mogelijkheid om zich optimaal te ontwikkelen en te ontplooien. Dit doen we door collega's in de gelegenheid te stellen om de cursus Klinisch Leiderschap van de Academie Medisch Specialisten (AMS) te volgen. Jaarlijks volgt een drietal medisch specialisten de cursus. Behalve een persoonlijke ontwikkeling van cursisten verwacht het MSBD ook een positieve bijdrage in de zorg op de werkvloer, waarbij deze collega’s een voorbeeld zijn in het tonen van klinisch leiderschap.
