Founded by Manfred Schweda in Casablanca in 2013, MSConex is a consulting boutique in the fields of waste management, waste2energy and the environment. MSConex has been specializing in organic waste studies, biogas production and its utilization, and many related issues such as leachate on landfills and its avoidance, greenhouse gas emissions and its mitigation, landfill degassing, electricity production by combined heat and power engines, desulfurization, carbon credit programs, etc. Manfred Schweda holds an MBA from the Vienna University for Business and Economics, he worked for 12 years as a trader in financial markets in Berlin, London, Frankfurt and Vienna. Combining financial and economic skills with environmental and sustainability problems and applying and adapting possible solutions to the challenges of North and West Africa is at the heart of MSConex. MSConex participated or carried out feasibility studies for the EIB, the EBRD, UNIDO / CTCN, private industrial companies and landfill operators in Morocco and West Africa.
