The Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation was formed in 1973 by a highly dedicated group of community leaders who were determined to lend crucial fundraising support to the programs and services of Mount Sinai Hospital.
The Mission of the Foundation is to raise funds in order to benefit the patients and families. Our funding supports services and programs by supplementing basic operating costs provided by the government. We also provide funding for equipment purchases and to support hospital priorities as they emerge. The objective of the Foundation is to contribute to the well-being, comfort and health of patients and their families, based on needs established by the Hospital Center.
