The Max Steiner Orchestra - short MSO - was created to bring a world class, high quality and competitively priced film, television and video game orchestra to the birthplace of classical music, Vienna, Austria. Working with different ensembles, from chamber all the way up to symphonic orchestra lineups, the MSO tries to attract a wide ranging audience, not only through a classical & romantic repertoire, but also with high-quality productions including opera, show, film and videogame music. Passionate about music, the Max Steiner Orchestra continues to set a foundation for the future of the industry, and supports all future musicians, composers and engineers The MSO has already collaborated with many renowned personalities such as musical superstar Andrew Lloyd Webber, opera singers Anna Netrebko, Thomas Hampson, Luca Pisaroni, Erwin Schrott, Katarina Tretyakova and Charles Castronovo, violinists Aleksey Igudesman and Latin-American Singer and composer José Feliciano. Furthermore, the Max Steiner Orchestra has performed for MTV Unplugged (Andreas Gabalier), Disney in Concert (Frozen), Best of John Williams, Disney’s Fantasia, Hampson & Pisaroni, Universal Music UK (Bruton Music), EMI Music UK and the TV-Production of Shanghai Huahua Zaozao Film & Television Culture Media with leading actors Wallance Chang and Wang Xiaochen at the Golden Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna.
