The National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) mission is to champion diversity within the design professions by promoting the excellence, community engagement, and professional development of its members.
At the Minneapolis chapter, we aim to:
A. Form a community that advocates for and supports local minority architects, designers, and design students
B. Generate interaction and fellowship among minority architects, designers, and design students through social and educational functions, programs and gatherings
C. Serve as a source of information for minority architects, designers, and design students
D. Maintain a roster of local minority architects, designers, and design students
E. Motivate, inspire, and support young minority designers, design students, and young minority professionals in design fields
F. Generate further interest in architecture and design in young minority students.
