Mountain Bike Centre Scotland

Providing Innovation in Cycling From market research to product development, knowledge transfer, testing and product launches, MTBCoS assist businesses to capitalise on one of Scotland’s fastest growing adventure sports. MTBCoS is a centre for open innovation and has an extensive partnerships network which allows companies, both product and service based, access to national and international markets. MTBCoS is a joint initiative hosted by Edinburgh Napier University, with project partners Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland (Scottish Cycling) and Scottish Enterprise. The project is funded by the Scottish Government and Edinburgh Napier University and is a founding member of Cycling Industries Europe (the voice of cycling business in Europe). The partners in the project are currently working on the Final Business Case to establish the World’s First Mountain Bike Innovation Centre in a refurbished cashmere mill in the heart of the Scottish Borders (funding secured through the Borderlands Growth Deal). MTBCoS offers a number of services to businesses in Scotland and throughout the world.
