MTC Security is a proudly Tasmanian-owned and operated security company with a long-standing history in the industry dating back to 1984. Originally operating as Launceston Security Solutions, we began our journey conducting security installation services such as alarms, CCTV, access control, and portable site security systems.In 2021, we acquired Platinum Security from Doug Knowles. Platinum Security brought with it a strong client base and reputation, having provided security services to major organisations such as Launceston City Council, Tas Gas Pipeline, Parks and Wildlife, and George Town Council.The merger of Platinum Security and Launceston Security Solutions marked the beginning of MTC Security, a unified company combining decades of experience, local knowledge, and trusted service under one name.Today, MTC Security continues to build on this solid foundation, offering reliable and comprehensive security solutions across Tasmania, including alarm systems, CCTV, access control, monitoring, and patrol services, all backed by a commitment to quality, compliance, and exceptional customer care.
