We develop cutting-edge regenerative rehabilitation solutions to restore strength and function after volumetric muscle loss (VML) injuries. Our approach combines biomaterials, stem cells, exosomes, and therapeutic biomolecules with neuromuscular electrical stimulation to enhance recovery and rebuild lost tissue. Because VML injuries rarely occur in isolation, we are also advancing preclinical models that integrate muscle loss with adjacent bone fractures and nerve injuries to better reflect clinical realities and accelerate translation.
