MTM S.r.l.

MTM s.r.l. is a research biotech company based in the Milan area, in Lombardy. Its mission is to assist academic and corporate scientists in the custom design and generation of cellular and murine models for biomedical research. Based on the specific features of each project, MTM will elaborate an optimized strategy to best suit a client's needs. MTM will design and generate recombinant constructs, and produce recombinant cell lines and transgenic murine lines, through a variety of approaches. This can be achieved by obtaining collaborative grants dedicated to each project. Upon request, MTM will discuss the possibility to collaborate in further stages of the research. We do not work on a fee-for-service basis.Our company works in close collaboration with the Core Facility for Conditional Mutagenesis located at the San Raffaele Scientific Institute, in Milan. Our scientists have generated numerous cell lines and transgenic/KO/KI lines, some of which are listed in the Mouse Genome Informatics database. We make use of diverse technologies, to produce conventional transgenes, transposon and viral transgenes, BAC transgenes (by recombineering techniques), targeted insertion constructs for knock-in and knock-out mice (constitutive or conditional).
