Established in 2021 by Dr Maria Taraktsoglou who has 12 years of biosafety experience working as a Specialist Inspector in the Health and Safety Executive's Microbiology and Biotechnology Unit and as a Biorisk Manager and Compliance Advisor in Defra. MTS BIO can provide a range of services and competent advice to organisations (e.g. biotechnology companies, universities, research institutions, diagnostic laboratories) that carry out activities with pathogenic micro-organisms, biological material, genetically modified organisms. Services include risk assessment input/advice, near misses or incident investigations, assurance services (laboratory inspections/audits), biological safety training. MTS can help you comply with health and safety biosafety legislation and provide you with ideas and solutions to strengthen your biosafety management arrangements.
