School of Computer Science & Engineering

The School of Computer Science & Engineering (SCSE) at Manipal University Jaipur, established in June 2022, is a hub of excellence in computing education. Our premier programs include the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), which began in 2011, and the B.Tech in CSE with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML), introduced in 2021. Recently, we launched an M.Tech program in CSE with AIML to deepen expertise in these fields. With over 4,500 students, supported by 111 faculty members, SCSE continues to grow and innovate. Our department has consistently produced high-quality publications, with around 50% featured in top-tier Q1/Q2 journals, showcasing the strength of our research. SCSE graduates achieve excellent placements in leading global companies like Dell, PwC, Cisco, Amazon, Google, and Juniper Networks, underscoring our commitment to career readiness. Furthermore, our focus on entrepreneurship is reinforced through the Atal Incubation Centre (AIC), which nurtures startups and supports innovation. To enhance academic practices, we are implementing decentralized assessments, industry and NPTEL certifications, and research integration. Last year, over 600 students earned NPTEL certifications, contributing to the university’s AA rating and top-40 SWAYAM-NPTEL ranking, marking a milestone in our dedication to quality education and industry relevance.
