Model United Nations for the Sustainable Development Goals (MUN4SDGs)

Founded in 2021, MUN4SDGs is a visionary non-profit organisation birthed from the collective ambition of young enthusiasts from various universities. Our core mission is to illuminate the path toward sustainable development for young minds across China, emphasising the profound significance of international affairs in shaping a sustainable future. Our Vision: To cultivate a generation of informed, responsible global citizens who are equipped to tackle the world's most pressing challenges. Through our initiatives, we aim to bridge academic knowledge with real-world applications, fostering a deep sense of global citizenship and responsibility among the youth. MUN Conferences: At the heart of our activities are our Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, designed to simulate the diplomatic negotiation and decision-making processes of the United Nations. These conferences serve as a dynamic platform for young individuals to debate critical international issues, enhancing their diplomatic English, public speaking, and comprehensive analytical skills. MINIMUN Program: Recognizing the importance of early engagement, our MINIMUN program caters to primary and middle school students. This initiative is tailor-made to introduce younger participants to the world of international diplomacy in a fun, engaging, and accessible manner, laying the foundation for future participation in global dialogues. Since our inception, MUN4SDGs has successfully organized multiple events and fostered partnerships with esteemed institutions like SDU and HIT. These collaborations have enriched our resources and expanded our reach, allowing us to make a significant impact on the academic and personal development of our participants.
