Our Story: Combating Cyber Risk Together
The rise in the number of cyber-attacks in the Asia Pacific (and especially in Malaysia) has spurred the demand for security solutions. Malaysia itself, with rising digital connectivity, ineffective cyber laws and weak regulations, and the lack of cybersecurity awareness is an ideal region for cybercrimes. The increasing severity of these attacks and stringent government regulations are predicted to increase the growth of the cybersecurity market in Malaysia further (98% of businesses in Malaysia are small-medium enterprises, contributing over 40% of the nation's total GDP). However, most enterprise and business owners have a lower understanding of the importance of having a comprehensive cyber solution as they do not see the potential costs of a data breach and the return on investment of spending on cybersecurity.
Hence, Munio was founded and partnered with other cyber technology and risk leaders in the field (such as Cisco, Symantec, FireEye, SecureKi, and Chubb) to ensure total digital security for organizations and hope to be at Malaysia's frontier in providing complete digital protection and combating cyber risk together.
