Founded in 2011 in the very footsteps of Alain Aspect, Nobel Prize of Physics 2022, by 3 of his former students and colleagues, Muquans became in 2021 the Quantum Sensors division of Exail (www.exail.com). You can now follow the "Exail - Photonics" LinkedIn page for updates about Exail developments in quantum technologies. --- Muquans was the world’s first company to commercialize industry-grade quantum sensors based on laser cooled atoms. Such sensors are now operated worldwide by non specialists, from the top of Mount Etna to Antarctica. Such a unique scientific and technological know-how was developed as a spin-off from Observatoire de Paris (LNE-SYRTE) and Institut d’Optique (LP2N) in France, where the core of the technology has been developed for more than 15 years of academic research.
