Founded in 2008 by Fede Alvarez, Guillermo Carbonell, and Pedro Lafferranderie, Murdoc quickly became one of the hottest production companies in South America, producing commercials for agencies and clients throughout the entire continent and providing production services for companies around the world. After the big success of “Panic Attack!” (2009), Fede left the company and moved to Hollywood to pursue a career as a director of blockbusters.
Following the premiere of the short film “The Plague” at the Fantasia Film Festival (followed by a tour of selections and prizes at some of the most important genre film festivals in the world), the company shifted its focus from advertising to content production. In 2023, Murdoc premiered “Alí Sócrates,” a comedy TV series, and it currently has a diverse slate of projects in different stages of development.
