Music Business Ambassadors (MUSBA)

MUSBA is a student-run organization at NYU that fosters professional growth, industry connections, and creative opportunities. Through exclusive networking events, speaker panels, mentorship programs, and hands-on experiences, MUSBA provides students with the resources and opportunities needed to navigate and excel in the music industry. We aim to create an inclusive and forward-thinking environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and career development by bridging the gap between students and professionals. EVENTS: MUSBA has hosted a wide range of events featuring industry leaders from companies such as Wasserman, Universal Music Group, Spotify, The Recording Academy and Live Nation. Our initiatives include industry speaker series, career development workshops, and networking events such as the Mentor x Mentee Mixer, which connects upperclassmen with underclassmen to foster guidance and support. MUSBA members are involved in every stage of event planning, from talent booking to marketing, production, and execution. By participating in the organization, students gain firsthand experience working in a professional setting, develop essential industry skills, and expand their network within the music business.
