We are a non-profit organization dedicated to giving back to humanity and bringing compassion together. We started as Facebook groups. After continuing to see countless posts for various causes and so many people actively sharing and donating, we thought it would be a good idea to find a way for people to donate every month and help multiple causes without much effort and then came the "Donate A Dollar" Project. Our motivation is simple. As Muslims, we are commanded to give back to the poor and needy. For those fortunate enough to give, even a dollar will help those in need. As a reminder, we should all be familiar with the hadith that discuss the seven types of people shaded on the Day of Judgement. One of them is 'a person who gives in charity and conceals it to such an extent that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives' [Bukhaari, no. 620; Muslim, no. 1712; and others]. Thus, we want to work together to be one of those who are protected by Allaah's shade and attain righteousness. MusCare is nonprofit (we are a 501c3 organization and our tax exempt ID is 82-1146259). We only seek to gain good deeds by creating the trusted platform for others to give back.
