Miguel Mujica Gallo (1910-2001) comenzó su colección a muy temprana edad, siendo su afición por la cacería y su gran admiración por el mundo prehispánico las que lo llevaron a adquirir una variedad de armas antiguas, entre las que se encuentra el Tumi, cuchillo ceremonial de la cultura Lambayeque (actualmente emblema de nuestra Fundación). Posteriormente, creo la Fundación que lleva su nombre y que administra los Museos Oro del Perú y Armas del Mundo. Miguel Mujica Gallo (1910-2001) started his collection during his early years. His interest in hunting and great admiration for the pre-hispanic cultures made him acquire a variety of ancient weapons like the Tumi, ceremonial knife that belonged to the Lambayeque culture (currently our foundation emblem).
