Formed in New York, NY, United States, Music ERA is a company that provides music production services through our award-winning production team, high-quality music content through our music media platform and learning experience through international music education programs. Music Era showcases a collective, interdisciplinary creative works that brings together talented composers and musicians from around the world with professionals from various fields of practice in the art society to collaborate on today’s context of cultural diversity found not only in concert halls, but in public art installations (parks, desserts, galleries, museums) as well. In other words, we creatively incorporate original music works composed by composers with a wide range of art forms, including but not limited to audio/visual, digital media, dance and traditional handicrafts. Throughout the years, our groundbreaking works have been performed in many countries across North America, Asia, and Europe at world-renowned venues like Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, (Le) Poisson Rouge, National Centre for the Performing Arts, SOAC and the International Computer Music Conference in Netherlands. As an artist-owned-and-operated music organization based in New York and China, Music Era Productions offers customized compositions for feature films, documentaries, episodic TV, video games, live arts and advertisements. We also specialize in sound design and full music supervision services. We are made up of a Pulitzer Prize-winner, top award winners of the 2017 ASCAP Foundation Morton Gould Young Composer Awards, the first award winner of the Musicacoustica-Beijing Electroacoustic Composition Competition and IMTA Composition Competition. All have received their education from top-ranked institutions like Columbia University, the Juilliard School, Berklee School of Music and Harvard University. Partnering with the preeminent local recording studios, including Gigantic Studio in New York and Tweak ToneLabs in Beijing, we are well stocked with high quality recording equipment to accommodate any recording project big or small. Our artistic approach is reflected in everything we do, embracing qualities that make music a powerful tool in transformative, commercial and experiential storytelling.
