MUTUO

MUTUO is an interdisciplinary consultancy based in Peru. We facilitate the development of meaningful socio-cultural programmes and urban policy research through community engagement, multi-stakeholder collaboration and social innovation. We address social, cultural, and environmental issues faced by underrepresented communities from Latin America and the Global Majority of the world. We believe in promoting people-centred initiatives for social transformation. We have developed participatory frameworks, managed citizen Open Calls, led public innovation Labs and delivered public policy research, evaluation and recommendations. We have worked across cultural institutions, local governments, civil society and international development organisations, such as UNESCO Peru, Bernard van Leer Foundation, Gerardo Chavez Foundation, World Bank Group, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Peruvian Ministries of Housing and Education, Swiss Contact, Affordable Housing Institute, the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima and creative collectives.
