Welcome to the µ-VIS X-ray Imaging Centre, an esteemed institution nestled within the University of Southampton. We are proud to be a dedicated hub for microfocus Computed Tomography (µCT) and a founding partner of the National Research Facility for lab-based X-ray CT (NXCT). With a journey that spans over two and a half decades, we are enriched by the collective expertise of over 40 esteemed academic professionals from across our university. Our commitment to advancing high-resolution X-ray tomographic imaging is evident in our substantial investment, exceeding £5 million. We offer a unique and unparalleled user experience, tailored to facilitate cutting-edge 3D imaging. Our primary mission is to provide a comprehensive approach to advanced 3D (volume) imaging, supporting every aspect of the process.
