May Week Alternative (MWA) is a charitable movement in Cambridge encouraging students to adopt a positive approach towards deliberate, effective giving.
Students donate an amount significant to them to the Against Malaria Foundation, which is then doubled through our match-funding. At the end of the academic year, in Cambridge's May Week, we come together as a community at a Summer Party to celebrate our collective impact.
In the four years since our founding, we've attracted the support of over 1,000 students and raised £230,000, helping to protect almost 270,000 people from malaria.
