BK MWA UI UM (Badan Kelengkapan Majelis Wali Amanat Universitas Indonesia Unsur Mahasiswa) is an organization whose role is to help a Representative of more than 46,000 Universitas Indonesia students on the highest governing body of the university: The Board of Trustees of Universitas Indonesia, in carrying out his roles & responsibilities. BK MWA UI UM roles consist of: - Conducting policy analysis - Publishing policy scientific research - Conducting research to absorb student aspirations - Held student meetings/forums to absorb student aspirations - Defining and applying control tactics on issues, by discussion forum, audience, and other methods - Preparing policy recommendations that will be communicated by the Student Representative on the Board of Trustees in Board of Trustees meetings - Delivering information to students about the results of Board of Trustees meetings - Building and maintaining good relationship with internal (Other Members of the Board of Trustees of Universitas Indonesia & student organizations) and external (all Student Trustees of each State University with Legal Entity & The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia) relations - Building the Student Representative on the Board of Trustees' public image to be closer and known by people - Implementing many more parts of Strategic Plan
