15 years ago, I started struggling with severe gut issues, which left me in the emergency room. Not too long after, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. Doctors told me I would have this condition for the rest of my life, and the only thing I could do is take medications to control and suppress the symptoms. I was studying for an MSc in Public Health Nutrition at the time of my diagnosis. I used my science and nutrition background to highly educate myself of how I can take ownership of my health, which led me to an alternative route, the holistic path. After years of trial and error and substantial amounts of research, I finally found something that worked for me, which is exactly why I strive to help others achieve the same. I was absolutely determined to not let my condition control my life, and truly believe our bodies have the ability to heal themselves. Today, I am Crohn’s free!
