MyTeamPerformance was invented in 2006 by former professional hockey coach Gijs van Heumen. Based on the need for more tools to streamline his coaching strategies and improve the performance of his team. What has started as a communication tool between coach and players has grown into a complete digital system MyTP in which all important data surrounding a sports team can be collected, linked and managed by trainers, technical staff and scouts.
My Team Performance continuously optimise their systems with their in home development team. “Advanced techniques give us the opportunity to translate many user needs into further development of our tools.” This resulted in 2016 in the launch of MyVideoAnalyser. This user friendly software enables users to analyse live video by highlighting individual and important clips to improve players and teams and to prepare their tactical game plan. This in-depth player and team video analysis system is nowadays used all over the world in sports like hockey, soccer, basketball, water polo and more.
