MyBank (www.mybank.eu) is a scheme-based account-to-account payment method that enables individuals, companies and public authorities to make and receive payments online directly through their online banking portal. MyBank provides for immediate confirmation of payment with certainty, end-to-end reconciliation and no specific amount limits that makes it very popular in a B2B context. MyBank became the leading account-to-account solution in Italy and has started to extend its value proposition to users in Belgium, Spain and Portugal in 2023 with a view to gain ground across Europe. MyBank is open to authorised payment service providers (PSPs) in the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), including credit institutions and payment institutions. MyBank's authorisation protocol goes beyond the world of payments and represents an effective tool for the expression of consent that can be applied to a variety of use cases within the ongoing digital transformation process. The solution is owned and managed by PRETA, a wholly owned subsidiary of EBA CLEARING, a provider of pan-European payment infrastructure solutions.
