Climate Finance Innovation Lab (CFIL)

The Climate Finance Innovation Lab (CFIL) is an initiative of the Joint Committee on Climate Change (JC3), spearheaded by Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad. CFIL is a collaborative platform designed to identify, develop, and accelerate innovative climate finance solutions and mechanisms that can mobilise private and public finance to achieve Malaysia’s climate ambition and strengthen climate resilience, covering four thematic areas: ✅ Energy transition and green innovation ✅ Circular economy and sustainable cities ✅ Sustainable agriculture ✅ Nature-based solutions and biodiversity CFIL intends to bridge gaps between policy, capital, and innovation by adopting a whole-of-ecosystem approach, connecting climate projects with policymakers, experts and funders to accelerate climate solutions.
