More and more children have mental health problems, which manifest themselves in sadness, loneliness, headaches, stomach aches or self-harm.
This has major negative consequences for the child, but also the immediate family. Studies show the earlier you take care of children's mental health problems, the greater the chance that they will not need therapy.
We will change this by providing an app for children and parents to use as a preventive measure or a tool they can use while on the waiting list for treatment (blended care).
The MYiNNERME app teaches both children and parents how to face difficult emotions with ease - focusing on topics like Anger, COVID Concerns, Shyness, Grief, Bullying and Mindfulness.
MYiNNERME is a behavioural healthcare app based on cognitive behavioural therapy for kids – developed by the Danish child psychologist Marie Ulstrup.
