Το εργαστήριo Μυλωνά ιδρύθηκε το 1983 από τον Γεώργιο Μυλωνά, Χημικό – Οινολόγο. Την διεύθυνση του εργαστηρίου Mylonachems έχει αναλάβει από το 2017 η Αγγελική Μυλωνά, επίσης Χημικός – Οινολόγος, με MSc στην Διασφάλιση Ποιότητας Τροφίμων και τ. ερευνήτρια στο ερευνητικό κέντρο “ΔΗΜΟΚΡΙΤΟΣ”.
Τα εργαστήρια MylonaChems διενεργούν ένα ευρύ φάσμα φυσικοχημικών και μικροβιολογικών αναλύσεων, σε όλα τα είδη τροφίμων και ποτών, καθώς επίσης σε ζωοτροφές και εδάφη.
Το προσωπικό του εργαστηρίου διαθέτει μεγάλη εμπειρία επίσης στην ανάπτυξη συστημάτων διασφάλισης ποιότητας (ISO 22000, HACCP), δημιουργίας νέων προϊόντων και επισήμανσης τροφίμων σύμφωνα με την ευρωπαϊκή και διεθνή νομοθεσία.
